Hello everyone. I am looking for a photographer that can take photos of my kids. I would rather not go to Target if I can find a better photographer that isn't charging nearly $1,000.

Thanks in advance!

Whoever you go with I think it's very important to choose a photographer that actually knows about their camera, how to work the settings, how to shoot in manual, how to work with lighting and filters, etc...

I think there are so many photographers out there that just get an expensive camera and think "Hey, I'm gonna become a photographer"... Yet they do not know anything about actually using a the camera... They think as long as they point and shoot it will all be good, but that is so far from the truth... Many don't even know how to edit photos, which is almost as important as the actual picture itself...

Of the ones listed I really like Teeny Weeny Photography... Good photos, good editing... The newborn pics are precious...

Good Luck in your choice!!!

Here's a friend of mine who is a fellow photographer:

walstonphoto - Home

He specializes in weddings, but he also does family shoots on the side. He has years of experience, and will meet families just about anywhere in town for outdoor photo shoots. He also has an indoor studio if that is more to your liking. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of work.

Steve Crawford Productions

Is he my brother? Yes. But I'm the first to tell him if he sucks at something. He's incredibly talented and his pricing is killer. You pay for the sitting, but when you're done, he gives you the edited shots on a disc, to print as you wish, now and in the future. You don't have to buy a "package" and pay by the picture.
