Too fast, slick roads, is what I'm hearing. But, it's hearsay.

So it was a car accident? Totally added about an additional 20 miserable minutes to my ride home, so I had some not so nice thoughts for the "victims".. you pretty much had to deserve it if you got in an accident there. That's a special kind of incompetence.

Moderator cut: orphaned I have almost been run off that bridge before in my truck and on foot while running. People do have a tendency to speed through there. Perhaps they should install those speed bumps there????

Personally, I HATE those speed bumps - try driving over 'em with an F450 SuperDuty some time! Even at the speed limit, you get slammed about!

I totally agree! I have yet to find a good way to approach those darn things in my Silverado. They jerk you around and if you have stuff on the seats it goes flying everywhere. But if it means that I do not get run over by speeders on that bridge I can deal with it.

It's not just westcreek residents that drive thru there. People are coming and going to Luna/Ott and even cutting thru towards Caracoal Creek.

It's not an exclusive gated road for just west creek residents. So I think anyone has a right to post on this.

Accidents happen. Maybe some idiot was speeding and just MAYBE he hit an innocent person. I don't know all the details of the accident. Would you really have no sympathy for someone who was innocent but caught in the middle? The same thing could be said for those who run out there...such as "why would anyone with brains run in an area where people drive dangerously. To do so must mean one doesn't think and I have no sympathy for them". Clearly you wouldn't say that.

True, mamatotex97. I will admit that was a little harsh and I was definitely not in the best of moods when I posted that original post. Moderator cut: see comment

I would still like to know what happened and hopefully it wasn't an innocent pedestrian. I too run there all the time and I see how little people pay attention on that road. I also see the Constable there quite often snagging people like a smelt run. Best time of the day to go for a walk in that area for sure because you know who he's going to get and you get to wave to them right before their day is ruined..

However, if it was a car vs car, then at least one of them should never have the ability to drive again.
