SAWS News: Proposed Rates Would Deliver New Water Supplies, Improve Infrastructure

[CENTER]Implementation of new water service water supply, and wastewater rates effective for consumption on or about January 1, 2012 is hereby declared. Customers will begin receiving bills that reflect the new rates on or about February, 1, 2012.[/CENTER]

.....how do we know they're REALLY going to improve the infrastructure? Hmmmm? Is there an audit done of the added profits? Hmmm.....methinks something fishy is afoot.

They are replacing the mains in our neighborhood as we speak. Our house was built in 1927. The main going down our side street broke at least 8 time this summer. I believe the increase is a necessary evil. Our water is very cheap IMO.
