Yeah, I think part of this is FedEx is now two different services.
FedEx ground is a company they bought out (don't remember off the top of my head who) and then regular fedex.
Most of the complaints I see about them are with the ground service.
If you see their trucks the ground service are the ones with the green letters.

I think USPS is ran by monkeys half the time.... I mailed out a package to a friend in California. Two weeks later it came back to me with "NSA (No Such Address)" on it... I called my friend and asked her what her address was, which was correct on the package.

Had to get a new package, remail it, and finally she got it this time. GRR!

that just happened with my co-worker and her car payment. Sent it out with 2 weeks till the due date, it never posted, she was freaking out because she got a late fee and it would ding her credit, and 3 days later, it shows back up in her own mailbox with a yellow "Undeliverable as Addressed" sticker on the front. Next to the pre-printed window with the exact same address that she's sent it to for the last 3 years and 8 months (only has 3 months left on the loan).

I've never had any trouble with correspondence/bills or packages using the post office. I've also never had any problems with UPS. Go figure.

Wasn't it Roadway Express? IIRC, they only delivered to businesses when they were operational.

I've only had the no such address thing once with a package. Apparently, somewhere along the way someone with USPS decided our address was no good. When it didn't arrive, the sender checked and was told that he sent it to an invalid address, but apparently nobody knew where it was. It arrived about a month later. Our address was correct on it and return address was on the package.

the bank manager at the credit union 3 days ago told me this.
major change in banking policy re mail robbery.
if u send the check thru the mail & its stolen and cashed in a check cashing place. its between u and the check cashing place. u gota go get your own lawyer. the bank is not in the loop . they wont help u. only if u pay a 25 dollar stop payment fee, 24 hrs before the check is cashed, will the bank handle it. otherwise u are on your own.
do not do not mail checks, pay by credit card or paypal or electronic check. this was not true 20 years ago. in the old days i just called the bank and told them it was forged, end of story.
lately mail boxes are being removed like crazy in my area, i think we gota lota people stealing mail. post office removes a box after 2 complaints of mail robbery.
