Buford will be cited for his DWI or if he is in good graces with the DA's office. As for me, I just donated all my Spurs t-shirts, caps, etc. to charity.
DWI and assault on an officer of the law. the ladder is a felony.

i sincerely hope he pissed his pants when he had a gun drawn on him.

My sentiments exactly

The Spurs just don't have the stamina, maybe .600...

I'm sure the handful of folks boycotting this season will make an impact. Regardless of whether you go or not the season is happening. The players will be getting paid b/c it is in their contract now that we do have a season. I myself will be attending games b/c I always have. They had a strike in 99 and look what happened....we won the first of four titles. Granted we are old, but it is a good time. And this is not about Buford's suspected DWI arrest. It is about the Spurs upcoming season. Buford bashing to the back, 33 home game schedule to the front. Beer drinking and basketball watching.

I'm sorry but there is more than a handfull that are "boycotting" the NBA. They will feel the pinch. My company usually gets suites season tickets this year we did not our other partners have done the same. These are people that have been fans and supporters since the iceman. This lockout was by far the worst, and has made the NBA a big joke. With that said I could careless...

I LOVE the spurs...but this lockout has made me second guess my loyalty to the NBA. I will watch some games but I will probably a bit alot more reserved than i have from past years. The lockout itself was complete bullsh*t.

I was referring to the "folks" in this thread. Seriously, what are you going to do after the Super Bowl watch hockey??? I think the NBA will be alright w/o your company and other partners. There is an an eb and flow to these pro sports. Now, I will argue that beer and snacks are pricy. Eight dollars for a beer and almost the same for nachos. Nachos! That is chips and cheese.

The other people in my Fantasy Basketball league keep trying to trade Manu and Tony for my Derrick Rose because they know I am from SA. I may live here and even love the way Manu plays (he's a madman on the court!) but I'm not an idiot. The Spurs need more young blood on the team!

I wasn't aware of the assault. If that's the case, let's see the severity of his punishment. Odds are that he will buy his way out of this mess with a top dollar law firm!

not just once, TWICE he almost hit an officer of the law. i hope his carseat is full of **** from staring down the barrel of a police handgun.

why couldnt the cop have just shot the dirtbag is beyond me. if i were a cop and someone attempted to run me over twice, the car would be riddled with bullet holes and the driver severely injured or dead.

people in this thread that are still adamant about watching the spurs really should reconsider. nothing says 'hey youre a good guy' like supporting an organization that allows its GM to get away with felonious assault on an officer of the law!
