I just moved to San Antonio area. I wanna go to some school in
San Marcos for a year. but its about 43milies from my house to the school.

I don't know how bad the traffic is between live oak to san marcos.
The school starts 8am to 5pm M-F.. I guess I have to leave home
6:30 is the traffic is bad...

I drove to the school during the day time today. there was some
traffic around 1604&I35 but that was it! it took only 50min to
the school.. I am from very small town, so I never have driven such
a long time to go to work/school before.

My questions:

There would be bad traffic on I-35 ( I will use 1604 North to I-35)
in the morning, before 8am and after 5pm??

Do you think its gonna be very stressful to drive 2 hours long commute
everyday with the traffic?? I have seen so many huge trucks on I-35..
I was so scared to drive

You're driving against the flow of rush hour traffic. I think you should be fine.

I drive IH35 daily between SA and Austin. If you leave after 9:00 it's not bad at all. At 8:00 the traffic is a lot thicker but no real issues going 70-75 all the way... Afternoons are cool until after 3:00 when traffic really backs up when you hit 3009 on into 1604.
Overall it isn't bad if you time it right.

A lot will depend on what part of SA you are driving FROM. Northeast is a piece of cake. 281/1604 not so much. South... forget it.

Texas State is a great school BTW!

Thank you guys! I used to live in a small town, everything was located within 10miles :P
I guess I gotta get used to drive in a big city like SA, and the traffic too!
