I sympathize with the event organizer. Promoting another radio station at an event sponsored by a competitor is a jerk move. Get permission beforehand next time.

The problem is that the event organizer invited both radio stations.

That sure wasn't clear from the video. The guy on the left kept making the point rather indignantly that the college was a public institution and his radio station was a "501c3 nonprofit." Sounded to me like they were trying to muscle in a live remote under the guise of covering it as a news event.
