I'm having a hard time finding a nanny. I definitely want to avoid agencies. So far I've tried craigslist, sittercity, care, and a TX-wide magazine. The local paper has no category for child care. Where else do I look? Also, I've found that the responses I do get either have no experiences, want to bring their own kids (not an option), are college students looking for a temporary gig, or ones wanting too much money. Is 1500-1800 per month too low? Am I missing something obvious here?
