Just moved to SA and love it but I'm not used to the traffic at rush hour! I have a weekday appointment at 8:30 am near I-37 & Rt 13 in SE SA but I live near Braun and 1604 in NW SA and I can't drop my daughter off at school until 7:10.

Do any of you know the best/least congested route to take from NW to SE San Antonio? It looks like I'll have to get my neighbor to take my daughter to school but I don't want to impose on them earlier than I have to.

Any advice would be appreciated.

1604S - 151 - 90E - 37S?

90 can get busy in the stretch near I35/I37.

that's the exact route I would take and it's busy on 151 and 90, but it moves as long as there's no accident. So do a traffic dance the night before and everything should be just fine.
1+ hour is plenty of time for that trip

BTW, I just bought a TomTom One on Sunday and I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a GPS navigation system. Best Buy has an in store special Sunday and Monday for $199.99 and luckily moved it online for the same price until who knows when. It was backordered last I checked, but $199.99 for a $300 nav system that constantly gets rave reviews is a great deal. I've been testing it all week and the only place it gets lost is by AFISRA on Lackland (what used to be AIA). For some reason the roads don't exist over there..

That's because it is a classified area and you do not have the need to know!
