I'd like to get my car washed maybe once a month. Any suggestions on places around Castle Hills or North Central?

I'm probably not interested in the $35+ full service places. Would like something closer to the $10 range where there is someone who will clean the wheels and do hand drying. Doesn't have to be perfect, but just something between the coin/do it yourself place and The Wash Tub.

Anything like that?

-Andrew

There is a car wash on SanPedro near Vance Jackson that offers a $5.00 car wash. It offers the option of getting it upgraded. I always get the upgrade to the $10.00 wash. It gives you wax and a spotless dry. They don't dry it, but it is dry by the time you get home and no spots. If it needs a vacuum, you have to do it yourself, but call it excercise. It's a good value for the not really dirty car.

That sounds like a good option. Hmmm, wonder if they are open Sundays.

What about a car wash that also does state inspections and throws in a car wash? Full service, inside vacuum, and outside drying?

Yes. They are open Sundays. I was there before 6:00pm this past Sunday just before they closed. It's my preferred place to get your car washed..

I think it started at $5, there is a carwash on West ave across from Panchitos. I have not been there.

The Hand Car Wash & Car Detailing, San Antonio TX

My car is in desperate need of a wash and I'm planning to go back to this place. They are near I-10 and DeZavala and do a fantastic job. Looks like they increased their full service price from $15 to $18 but I think that's still a bargain for the job they do. My car looks like new after I take it there.

reviving this thread because I have a similar question...
what about near and/or around downtown?

as cedar season approaches, my one on one time at the coin wash gets slim.
if not downtown, anything near north central?
