Try Western Wear at Sheplers: largest selection of cowboy boots, cowboy hats, wrangler jeans, levis jeans, western cowboy boots, justin cowboy boots, western and cowboy hats, western cowboy shirts, western cowboy suits, western cowboy belts, western belt . They have a location in SA. The last time I was at the one here in Vegas they had some nice stuff.

I'm going to have to go with Paris Hatters, downtown. Or Cavender's Boot City at Windsor Park Centre at I35 and 410.

Cavenders also has a location across 410 from North Star Mall.....and I think out 410 on the West side of town. But Sheplers is good too! Be sure to get a braided horse hair trim that hangs off the back of the hat! I love that!

I come from a long line of cowboys. My husband wears a hat everywhere we go (and yes, little kids comment all the time LOL).

You can get them just about anywhere. Sheplers and Cavendars are good but they are expensive. Tractor Supply has cowboy hats. Heck my husband bought his last straw at Walmart. But I don't let him spend a lot on a straw because he goes thru them too fast. I bought him an $80 straw once and he was on the tractor and it flew off and he ran over it with the shredder I was soooo mad!!! but it is funny now~~
Just be sure you don't get one that is all curled up on the sides, that definitely says "urban cowboy".
And remember, just because you pay a lot of money for a hat, doesn't mean it is authentic.

Good luck~
