Thanks for posting that picture of President Bush. Although he was FAR from being my favorite president, the picture did take me back to MUCH better days!

Going to be out there but my whole perspective changed. One poster made a lot of great points about just how liberal it is to be taxed and regulated on everything. After moving back I feel way more free to do what I please without the state regulating every single thing you're involved in.

In LA I believe they even recently bannned throwing a frisbee or football on the beach lol. Add that to not being able to drink alcohol, no camping or campfires. Yeah, so liberal lol they can keep it. Unless regulations change, I prob won't move back. Just a beautiful state for such deteriorating laws and economy.

You said it, and very well! Everyone, native or not that lives in Texas is super-duper blessed! FREEDOMS....the common sense freedom and now it is clearly written in Texas law that we can use even deadly force if necessary, to not only defend our lives, the lives of our family and friends, but our and even their property!!

I just read that portion of that law a couple of days ago, and I thought of the country song, "God Blessed Texas!"

I, too lived in California, near San Jose for 13yrs. total, and then Hawaii for 18yrs., and shudder at how they have less freedoms there, and Hawaii is the worst. You can have a registered gun if you run downtown with it three times after taking the all day class, but you, in essence "better not need to shoot anyone."
The criminals in Hawaii know how safe they are and property crimes are outta sight. They'll climb your back fence and turn your water faucet on full force...yes, happened to us.

Liberals are financially and morally liberal, and liberal with abortion but THEY are the ones that want to force immunizations, (the hypocrites are selectively "pro choice," cough cough)....increasingly on all of us and force us to lay down for criminals except we can use our hands, sort of thing.
