Exclamation Primary Care Physician Recommendations (Northwest SA)

Okay, I really need to find a decent PCP and I have absolutely no idea where to start. Google isn't helping either, so I turn to you good folk! Ideally I'd like the place to also offer Ob-Gyn services, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm at North-west SA, near Bandera/1604, but I don't mind traveling >30mins.

I just need someone nice and friendly who will see me when I'm under the weather.

(Bonus points if they have a website )

Dr. Regina Lee at Westover Hills Family Medicine is great. She does OB/Gyn and pediatric too. I really like her, but she's too far from me now. Hope you're able to find someone you like soon!

Gonzaba Medical Clinic on Ingram and Culebra, just 2 blocks in from 410 and Culebra. LOVE the fact we can get care there 7 days per week, can ALWAYS get in the day we need to (like you can schedule and know when you are going to get sick) and staff is VERY good. LOVE them! Uncertain about the OB thing, but GYN for sure...mammograms, bone density...VERY accomodating for most stuff...just no idea about the OB stuff.

My mom at Westover Hills. You can claim I'm biased, but she really is the sweetest, most amazing person ever. All her patients and co-workers love her. And so do I, of course For different reasons, though.

And she can refer to an OB/GYN who's in the same building.

I second Macgregor Med Clinic . My doc is very personable and takes her time with me and my many ailments. I started going there on the recommendation of many people I work with who stated they had great luck there with being seen, getting referrals and what not. I, myself, was weary also because I had just gotten off of Active Duty and decided to use my civilian insurance as a primary. The only thing I would gripe about is the wait time but when you do get back and see the amount of time they spend with you then you realize why you wait.

Thomas Mieras, on Datapoint Dr. He's my primary, very good, recently listed in one of those "best doctors in S.A." mags. A long time back, I quit going to that Gonzaba clinic somebody mentioned because of all the endless waiting, waiting, waiting.

Personally, have not encountered the "endless waiting", but not to say others have not.

I LOVE that they are open EARLY and LATE and 7 days per week...we are healthy and don't get sick that often, but GRATEFUL to be able to get in the SAME DAY when we DO need care!
