Default Where can we donate very gently loved stuffed animals in San Antonio?

My daughter has been cleaning her room, and we have amassed a small pile of very gently used stuffed animals...most of them she received as gifts or made at Build a Bear, and they have been living in plastic boxes in her room for some time.

She would like for them to go (as directly as possible) to other children, but I am unsure as to how to do this? Would you know of any organizations that accept stuffed animals?

I've googled to no avail...

I'd also recommend Methodist Children's Hospital, quite an influx of little patients go through there.

Any one of the children's hospitals or we've been working (and donating) with the Children's shelter.

But yay! for your daughter wanting to donate them.

We used to donate the kids' stuffed animals to the local PD substation. They go out on a lot of calls where the kids' life has just been shattered, and they give them a toy to help them have someone to "share" their sorrow with.

I donated some toys a few years ago to the Ronald Mcdonald house, they were very grateful for the donation.

My daughter donated a bunch of hers to the Kyle, TX SAFE (Stuffed Animals For Emergencies) chapter. It's the closest one we found, there may be one in SA at this point but it wasn't that big of a deal driving to Kyle. They accept clean, good condition stuffed animals and distribute them to kids in need.
