KB has raised the earnest money in the Quarry to $10,000 if you have to sell your house to qualify. This may help reduce the number of cancelations - but I wonder how many buyers this will turn off. No incentives, increased earnest money requirement and a non negotiating policy on builds...three things that will cause a slow down in traffic.

Default Like Wildfire!

Man! Out here in Fox Grove houses are going up like crazy...I'm always curious to see if anyone actually moves into them though. We have at least 2 on our street that are completely done and have been for months that are still vacant. I have noticed however they do not have "Available" signs in front of them, just signs that say, "KB Home".

I wonder how many homes KB currently has under construction still have buyers. Fox Grove is a nice area - but I know there are quite a few cancellations out there - so KB may be trying to scale back their new home building to just very serious and qualified buyers. Anyone know what the earnest money is in Fox Grove? Have they increased it out there?

The Pulte homes in Iron Mountain Ranch - any ideas on those homes? are they well built? We went to check some out that are for sale and for one we saw there was a electricity box in the backyard - is that normal - what about resale value
