You can go to their website and sign up for emails that will be sent to you regularly providing lane closure information. I used to get them weekly but lately they are coming twice a week. The project is really moving along fast!

You can also follow them on Twitter and Facebook. As well, StoneOakInfo.com | The premier Stone Oak online community posts information as soon as they receive it from Alamo RMA.

I've looked over the diagrams in the Alamo RMA, but I can't find where the exits will be for Stone Oak Parkway off of 1604. So if you come off 281 NB and take the WB ramp for 1604 will you be able to exit to get on Stone Oak or will it bypass SO Parkway? I guess you could always just take the 1604 exit and turn left onto the access rd, but it seems like that wouldn't do a whole lot to help with the traffic...

I just looked at the website and it showed this update from literally 3 minutes ago. (Roughly 6:30PM on Sunday evening.)

Update: Loop 1604 Westbound Main Lanes from US 281 to Stone Oak are now OPEN.

You should be able to...otherwise, you're right, you would overshoot it. But, it looks like (from viewing the project on the road) that there is an exit ramp leading down...there is room there.

There are shortcuts around to avoid the traffic if necessary. I live here because of the wonderful schools and just general environment. It's a beautiful area in my opinion and I've lived over in WestOver hills and the Helotes Sonoma Ranch area in the past and I'd deal with traffic twice as bad to live where I live now. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever.

I agree with you. Don't take this the wrong way, but coming from Houston shouldn't you be used to it?
