Not sure what part of town you live on, but if you're in the western part of the county, there is a little known restaurant called Lenny's barbecue on Talley road (outside 1604). I don't remember seeing po'boys on the menu, but Lenny will definitely make one for you. My personal favorite is the seafood gumbo. Also, I've not tried it yet, but he claims to make the best catfish as well.
