For those with a Kindle or similar electronic reading device, Amazon.com has Visit The Riverwalk: The Ultimate Guide for Visitors to San Antonio downloadable for free at the moment!

Just note the three reviews, this book is not intended to be a tourist guide. Actually, it's quite the opposite! As one reviewer points out, it is a "nonstop attempt at cuteness" and includes this excerpt:

"The first bridge, near St. Mary's street, was created by accident when a tree fell, connecting both sides. After a bloody conflict that lasted several days, the south side San Antonians killed all the north side inhabitants and drank all of their beer, an event commemorated today by the annual dias golpeanos festival, where tourists on the wrong side of the river are ceremoniously pushed into the water and tequila is drunk freely in the streets."
Also, these free offers don't usually last long, so if you're even slightly interested in this book at no cost, I recommend downloading it now even if you don't plan to read it at the moment.

For those of us with Kindles and Amazon accounts, you can store it in your cloud thus saving space on your device.

Cheers! M2

You forgot to post the website this is based off of: Visit The Riverwalk - Things To Do on the San Antonio Riverwalk
