Agreed.

I would disagree that it is a renter's market. Rents are too high. You can do better if you are looking to buy down here, if your credit is good you will get much more bang for your buck than renting.

While you're at it, bring Candlebox down, too!

I think Jimi Hendrix liked San Antonio. He is a legend down here. I have seen numerous snap shots. He performed here twice. I saw him both times. I have never been to Seattle. I would like to someday. Jimi was in the SCREAMING EAGLES AIRBORNE. He might have trained at Lackland. I live real close to that base. I have lived other places but I like it here.

I have a friend from Seattle, a transplant to SA. He loves it here.

Education-wise Seattle and San Antonio are miles apart overall, but I lived in 5 large American cities and SA has by far the most friendly, down to earth people you'll find. Youll love it here.

Although this seems to be just for SA proper, it's interesting nonetheless:
Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitor sites is not allowed

If you run the numbers, only about 2.3% of San Antonio's population is military.
