We've been here five years and I haven't had a single day of allergy issues in TX. I have LOTS of problems where I grew up, including visits, etc. now.

Mold is high right now. Pecan is just starting up. I have a pecan allergy, but it's under control thanks to shots.

If you're bothered, get thee to an allergist and get tested. This is
my allergy doc . I recommend him highly.
The most common allergy here is cedar, but it's a winter allergy and cedar pollen is not in the air at this time of year.
