Since it has not happened yet, I don"t believe it is going to happen. The halftime shows are as cheap as can be. My suspicion is that the promotion money went to salaries. If you're qwondering where the t'shirt money went, just think of it as going to the Spurs who were picked up during the season... Boris Diaw and Patty Mills.

Free t'shirts undoubtedly hurt merchandise sales, too. If you want a shirt, support the Spurs by buying one!

(Edit, forgive my symbol typos... Android keyboard puts the symbols in goofy places. )

I think the Spurs can do the t-shirts just put a corporate logo on the back and you are good, but it does hurt the sales side.

Note that the other giveaway shirts have big, big words and almost no team logo on them. Plus, you don't get to pick the size of your giveaway shirt. I got one a couple of years ago during the WCF against the Lakers and it was an extra large. It had the phrase "Get Loud" on it and a handful of corporate logos. If you wore it in another city, it wouldn't be recognized as a Spurs shirt.

I agree with the sales aspect. It's just that it'd be nice to see Spurs fans wear team colors. Whatever they wear, as long as they are LOUD and help to create a genuine home court advantage works for me! I will be at work but no doubt will be cheering for the Spurs!!!

Go Spurs Go!!!!!

Spurs are favored to win according to Las Vegas. -5. Vegas doesn't like to lose so look for San Antonio to win big. Also don't look for Ibaka to go perfect from the field again. Nor will KD be so hot in the fourth quarter. Tim should rack up another big playoff performance as should Tony. Either way you stack it the Spurs win. Bank on it.

True. Vegas odds are swinging our way. I know Ibaka won't go 11/11 but Durant could have a similar, or better, performance than Sat night. He is that good of a player. But Pop better start bringing more double-teams on him and at least try to disrupt his shot. Regardless ESPN and the AP are all saying that this is a must win for us. Also, you can get cheap Spurs shirts at Academy. I got mine there for 9 dollars!!!

Every home game is a must-win in the playoffs. If the team doesn't defend home court, it goes into a hole that's tough to dig out of.
