Hey, where is SAN ANTONIO on your poll????? There ARE a few born and raised here folks you know.

Born military, married military, so born at Carswell AFB, Ft Worth TX, but raised in SA while my dad flew all over the world...we had one of those "he was always gone, you stayed here" kinda situations...graduated HS here, married military, lived overseas forever, and retired back here in SA.

Born in Ohio but moved to San Antonio when I was three. Stayed here until I went to college- TCU in Ft Worth. Lived there for 10 years and just moved back to SA this past June. We'll be here forever!!!

So far I've met a bunch of people who were born and raised in San Antonio. Much different than in Florida, where I was born and raised.

Florida changed over the years and more and more people moved there from other states. It's an adjustment for the people born and raised there but I think it's something I grew to appreciate.

Richards Bay, South Africa by way of Oklahoma City, Fort Worth, Irving and Richmond, VA

As they say: I was not born in Texas but I got here as quick as I could!

Ditto that! So I didn't know where to poll! Born in CA....got to Texas in 64.....but SA is my hometown, having spent more of my time here than anywhere else!

WOW.... this really gives pause for thought.....
I am 'from' so many places.... I'm assuming however, you are looking for the birthplace....
and my zig zag route across this country would be something to untangle too.....

1.Born in Ohio
2.Family moved to SoCal when I was 13, started high school, Covina High School that fall
3.Moved to Dallas years later, when I could no longer pay for Menendez Bros trials, RodneyKingCop Trials and all the cleanup associated with THAT, OJ trials, freeways that collapsed during earthquakes, light rail sytems with UNDERGROUND routes over EARTHQUAKE FAULTS and trials associated with same for fraudulent licensing and credentials...... shall I continue?
4.Back to Ohio after Dad died, leaving Mom alone and ill (KILLED me to think of her there)
5.Back to Texas, but to San Antonio rather than Dallas
