I remember that concert I was in middle school then. It was BB, Fishbone, and L7.

Correction: The Sex Pistols indeed did play at Randy's Rodeo, but their last show on that ill-fated 1978 tour was at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. There are some great photos of the infamous Sex Pistols concert @Randy's Rodeo right here---> Welcome to the Rodeo :: San Antonio
Did the Beastie Boys really play at Randy's in the 80's? I know for a fact they played there during the Grunge-hype in 1992 w/Cypress Hill and L7. looksy here for the flyer---> GigPosters.com - L7 - Beastie Boys
Supposedly for their first tour the Beastie's sax player was a former member of 1980's local punk band Raging Woodies (Jeff Groves?).

I saw the Beastie Boys there too, that was a great show! That place was jam packed and "No Sleep till Brooklyn" was rocking the house with some incredible bass. So many good looking girlies there, what an awesome night.

No, they did not play in SA in 87; I thought they did. The BB and Fishbone concert was real it made it to Houston in 87. I thought the 92 concert was the 87 concert, I was way off.

Hello to all! I am a newcomer to this site. I have enjoyed seeing all the old places and have a question for you... Do any of you know of a Catholic Church that burned down in the mid to late 40's in the San Antonio area? I am trying to help an elderly neighbor who lived there and can't recall the name of the church. Any info would be appreciated. Please email me directly at: DHu2781022@aol.com (not sure I can find this thread later) LOL Thanks for any help!

Wow, what a great memory. I too saw Jaws at the Broadway and had lots of friends that worked at Handy Andy.
