I am including a few that may be discussed.
One is of the old Don Strange Party House marquis at 1550 Bandera Road. It is hidden behind a DriveTime car lot and is a memory of some bygone time of great Art Deco signs that dotted the S.A. landscape.
The other is a very localized business that thrived in the 1970's. This store was called Armand's and sits in a sad state at the corner if Woodlawn and Hillcrest.
If anyone recalls the history or memories of these sites please feel free to share along with any other old time photos that differentiate this thread from its sister thread.

That store on woodlawn was a family run store, I used to ride my bike there all the time I think waht I heard was the owner of the land raised the rent and pushed them out why I dont know. There is a barber shop right next to it that is very succsesful but my godmother who live near it says that rats are a problem because of its lack of up keep. YA KNOW WHAT? let me call and ask her Ill be in touch!

nope.all the chelsea's street pubs have been closed for some time,i think the ingram location may have been the last.that one closed i guess 8 or 9 years ago.ingram has changed quite a bit since the good days when we used to roam the mall between 85-91 or so.
