I just got some indoor spray from Home Depot and sprayed the floors...the entire floor. It's safe to walk on once it dries. Afterwards, I placed some food grade DE on the bedding and around the baseboards. Today we sprayed the yard with some stuff that you connect to the hose with stuff we found at Home Depot. We bought the DE at Mumme's feed store off 281. Finally, I'm going to get some sort of either topical flea killer/prevention or an oral one. So far so good. This weekend we may get some beneficial nematodes for the yard.

I was reading today about Coconut Oil and saw that it can be given to dogs and help with the flea problem. I let my dog lick the spoonful of Coconut Oil and hour ago and my dog has not scratched yet! Wow!

.
You can also give a dog yeast tablets (found in any vitamin store section) - one a day - makes them immune to fleas. Sounds odd, I agree, but after one bottle of these, our cocker/springer spaniel mix never ever had any more fleas in 13+ yrs!
