In regards to running if someone started shooting, I can assume you're not from here. Most kids in Texas are taught how to defend themselves with arms whenever necessary. We also learned gun safety from our fathers and grandfathers who were the soldiers of WWII,Korea, and Viet Nam Wars. I guess you missed out on that- shame too. I don't know anybody that carrys a weapon that's gonna run. I can assure you we'd much rather be shot from the front than in the back. We're different here in Texas and ask any native if he is a Texan or a citizen of the USA and see what ya get. Then maybe you might have a clue.

Duck and weave, duck and weave. Pay no attention to the questions being asked, just start flinging insults.

same rules apply to LEO. u must have a locked container separate ammo lots of options to store it other than the car and hotel.
have u tried asking to check it in at law enforcement. the problem with carrying here is u have a massive liability 24/7.
and if u think u got problems storing it, if u actually have to use it here, u are guna need a good lawyer.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't read all that jazz, cause it would probably make me mad and I am most likely in 100% agreement with MadMax anyways. Simple answer to the question is "NO, you can't carry at all in there. It is an amusement park with huge 30.06 and against the Texas law 100%." You should have learned this in the CHL class or you should have researched this before carrying to a State that is not yours. It is the responsibility of the gun carrier to know where it is and is not legal to carry, at all times.

OK, I lied, I just read all the stuff posted. I didn't lie that I am in agreement with Hedgehog, MadMax and Dim, so let their posts read as things I would have said as well.

@MadMax: Awesome photo! Did you go out and take that just for this?!

Also, I stand by my informed citizen statement 100%. If you are going to carry, know the laws of the state as much as you can. This was not an obscure "you can't carry in X place on Tuesday when wearing purple law". It is pretty clear.

Other than that, carry often and use when needed! The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always have a gun and cheat if necessary. I will keep mine, you go on ahead without yours, I bet I know who has a better chance if **** ever (though it probably won't) goes sideways.

Life must be sad when you constantly have to worry about a nutcase everywhere you shop or go. I carry too, but really if someone is afraid ogoing to Sea World without your piece, then maybe they should stay home where its "safe". Moderator cut: Off-Topic
