You can get cheap frames at Dollar Tree. And you can hang small collections of frames in a way that they take up the same space as a bigger frame, if you wanted something for above your sofa or something like that.

Just some ideas.

Building on the photo idea, you can get your photos printed on canvas too...google gallery wrap photo prints to see some. That's a little expensive, though, for the bigger ones.

Definitely HomeGoods, TjMaxx, Marshalls. Sounds like just what you want. I also just tried "Painting with a Twist" look it up - really fun and a cheap way to get some art of your own that looks good even if you're not artistic.
