We were sitting here today and avoiding the rain when the topic of Military Drive came up from back in the late 70's and 80's. I remember Chelsea street at South Park Mall, then my friends had a brain fart and could remember the others. I call my uncle and asked about the one down on Militasy and Pleasanton (around there), he said it was Chaps. Does anyone remeber other ones from back in the day???

I'd forgotten all about that one. Military Drive @ Boswell. It was in the old Handy Andy building. It was out in front of Dillard's if they were still there at the time. Now occupied by Whataburger and Frost Bank. I think it was Chap's. Always trouble there seemed like. Back in what day's??? 60's and 70's yes! Let's see... Golden Stallion, Randy's Rodeo, older places Farmer's Daughter, Silver Saddle, Hilltop.......These were all country dancing.

I remember when the Handy Andy was there, when it closed it became chaps then torn down a few years later. The Handy Andy was there till the early 80's that I do remember.

and one downtown in 1977? something country club? I don't think it was San Antonio Country later to be Bonheim Exchange. It was only one floor.
