I've been with Virgin since I arrived in the US last year and have never had a single problem with getting signal. I live on the NW side of San Antonio and live with two people who use AT&T and they are forever complaining about not having signal on their phones. I do love Virgin :3

Thanks guys for all of your advice. I wound up getting with AT&T after much negotiating with the hubby (AT&T hater). Our reception is excellent and even better than the reception I got from Verizon, which wasn't bad either. Took the phones back to Sprint and raised hell with the manager for allowing his sales folks to con me into their service knowing the reception would be bad. They refunded ALL of my money (no restocking fee) and cancelled my service. I don't understand why they even bother having a store in an area where their service sucks. Oh well, all ended ok and we are back in service.
