My A/C unit started leaking a few weeks back and I have had three technicians take a look at it and no one wants to take the job. The first person cleaned the lines out and drained the overflow pan and said it should all be ok. Well it wasn't so I had Champion AC take a look at it and he was in the attic for about 5 minutes max and he simply said pan was corroded and he was going to look for a new one and call me back, well that was last week and nothing. Will Fix it came by today and said it looks like the unit it tilted back a bit with could be the reason the water in building up and overflowing in to the overflow pan and out onto the sheetrock which is causing the leak. I had the coil replaced June 2010 and the technician from will fix it stated the coil may be the problem but that was it. He also said he can install a pump for $400.00-$500.00 which would help but no guarantee since he doesn't know if the coil is corroded. He also thinks I should look into placing another drain line because the one I have is tilted which may be causing the water to back up.

All these maybe's but no real answer. I know the space is tight but nobody wants to touch it or work on it. I just want a dependable and honest company to fix it. A-US Air Conditioning of Texas replaced the evap coil Jun 2010 and it seems that they didn't do a very good job.

Any recommendations?!?!?!?!

I really love Agee's. My mom has used them forever, and we use them on our two units. Their customer service is awesome, and all the techs I've encountered are equally awesome. Good luck!

Pilot Heating and Cooling has done an excellent job for us. They are out of Bulverde, but will go anywhere in the SA metro area!

Good luck!

LOL....Sears just sublets their work out to someone else...usually some low-end fly-by-night company. Pass.

Victory Air Conditioning and Heating is who we trust for their demonstrated integrity. They are based in Floresville so am unsure how far north in Bexar they are willing to travel. It is also a Christian owned company if that means anything to you.
