My friends and I frequent Chris Madrids, Taco Haven, Rosarios, Pico de Gallo during our lunch hour and would like to visit some new places in the downtown area. Any suggestions? Mexican, Italian and American food only. Thanks!

Lula's - in Milam Building - best mexican in DT. Go early it gets packed.
(Not to be confused with Lulu's with the giant cinammon rolls)
Jerry's Chicago Style - Commerce -nextdoor to the Esquire - Hot Dogs & Italian beef/sausage sandwiches - all imported directly from Chicago. Go Early it gets packed.
Josephine St. Cafe - a little off DT, but great comfort food...again go early it gets packed.
