US News recently released their selections for the Best High Schools in the U.S. This list specifically addresses college readiness by following a three-step process, (1) all students had to be performing above "average" for the state, (2) from those that passed #1, then whether the school's least advantaged students (income, race) were performing above state average among similar students, (3) those schools that passed both the criteria for #1 and #2 were then judged for college readiness using AP or IB test data (participation rate AND pass rate for these exams). *See Methodology link below lists for detailed criteria used.
