Its obvious that you are choosing to be rude. I'm trying to have a serious discussion about the money we are spending.

3,000 homes at $10 per home is $30,000. I'm talking about cutting over $300,000 from the budget but please explain how you come up with only $10 per home.

There is a reason that so many people are behind this year. Either way, we aren't a socialist state and need to stop trying to be so.
Personally, I believe that most don't pay because they believe that since they don't use the amenities they shouldn't have to.

It's $10 per month per household. How thick are you??? Read what I wrote..I'm trying to have a serious discussion as well. Until you understand basic accounting, I can't quite do that.

I'll let you stew for a few more hours to see if you can figure it all out.

Very mature and constructive...NOT! It seems that you are qualified to fit right into the BOD.

I've got no dog in this fight, but if you do the math, I think you'll agree that fcf is right.

$360920 / 3000 homes = $120.31

$120.31 / 12 months in a year = roughly $10 a month

Yes, it is $10 per month which is also $120 per year which is a potential 45% reduction in dues.

So, I overlooked that you said "month" where I was talking about "year". Still doesn't change the arguement that we are paying for things that we should not be paying for.

Yes, our total savings was the same...just shifted from annual to monthly and I missed that.

If you live in WC, you certainly have a dog in this fight! Whether you are happy paying the dues or not is up to you but you are effected by the requirement to pay.

Nope, I'm just a stalker. I DO live in a neighborhood with an HOA, er, excuse me a CIA. I'm just taking notes.

Ha, Thanks for your input. How much is the annual budget of your HOA and what to you get for it?

Maybe we can bring this back to the point of the discussion now which is paying money out when we don't need to do so.

Yeah, its only $10 a month, and if your property taxes go up $20 a month, and your cable goes up $2 a month, and your electricity goes up $15 a month, and .... The point is that it all adds up and that people need to have control of spending their own money.
