Default WestCreek Entrance

Been away for awhile and haven't finished reading all the WC posts......whew! Lots of controversy!

But, on another note, what the HELL happened to the trees in between the bridge that leads into WC?????

VWOA Trees (http://www.villagesofwestcreek.com/trees.php - broken link)

The county removed the trees, as they were growing into the bridge and other issues....

Gee, too bad. I really liked that canopy of trees......I thought they were a nice "welcome" when entering WC.

I then called the Ofiice and explained my findings to a nice young girl who informed me that the HOA is aware of the piles. Their intentions were to purchase a wood chipper and use the mulch at the monuments, etc. She confirmed that the chipper /shreader will not be purchased and the piles will be cleaned up as soon a HOA Maintenance can schedule it.

After the conversation I wished I would have suggested that a wood chipper /shreader be rented when needed. I assume they are several thousand dollars and since it would not be used that much it would not be wise to prchase it.

Last week we looked at a $ 8000.00+ camera to video abandoned water wells. It pretty awesome with all the features. I suggested that we not purchase it since it would sit idle more than 90% of the time. We don't need to buy toys with our Ratepayers Money.

I'm not saying that a chipper is a toy but I know its' use would be seldom.

*I don't know where the mattress is but if its on the other sideof the Military Bridge the HOA Maintenace can still pick it up. I cannot tell you if that area is part of our responsibility or not but it just makes good sense. It is no different from me picking up trash in front my neighbor's home or in his /her yard. When I cut the yard and blow the clippings that have made it into the street I always go several feet or more past our property. Sure I end up picking up a little more but it helps make the entire area look nicer.
Thanks for making the call, hope the photos help. The couch is directly across the road/bridge from the piles of limbs/boards.

Me three!

BTW, it looks like the trees are all gone (at least out of view from the bridge).

Wellguy, maybe you could ask one of your contacts with BC if they can steam clean the dirty cement barriers on the bridge.
