I came in the back way tonight due to the rain and saw the branches / limbs chipped up. I certainally looks a lot better and its great that it will be used throughout the neighborhood.

Maybe the HOA should purchase a wood chipper. At first I didn't feel we should buy one since it would set idle most of the time. We could take our branches / limbs to a selected area and they could be chipped up. If there is ever an over abundance of them maybe the Homeowner's would be able to take some. Its' better that having them end up in the landfill. It could be a "Win" "Win" for Everybody.

The following points were raised at the board meeting: 1. the current board is not registered with the Secretary of State 2. a home was foreclosed on for non-payment of assessments while the home owner was serving our country in Iraq 3. the board is in violation of the bylaws by forcing home owners to pay for the repair/maintenance of fences along the major roadways. 4. After being accused of writing the letter to Westcreek home owners that was distributed at the meeting, a board member defended himself by publicly inferring that a home owner authored the blog and identified him by name - first and last. That homeowner was present, stated he was not responsible for the blog and asked for a public apology...yet, the board member who fiercely and quickly defended himself by humiliating and throwing a home owner under the bus could not find decency to apologize 5. the board did not grant requests for more time for homeowners to speak except for one home owner who happens to be a former board member who was defending the board's position. This is beyond ridiculous.

So what's the solution??? Why continue to go around in circles when items of this magnitude can not be corrected? What's the penalty for breaking bylaws? If there aren't any, then what is point of having them? Where do we turn? What's the next step?

Start voting them out in April. That's the solution. Nothing will happen until then.

So basically, they can do what they want...break rules, make new ones, run the place into the ground with no consequences. This makes me sick...we need accountability.

Yes...and I believe there was at least one other who requested more time, but was denied.

There was an ATTY. who as he spoke kept referring to "his clients" who are Homeowner's. Maybe something is up.

What's up with the copy / copies of the Westcreek Blog that caused so much controversy setting out at the HOA Office?

I certainly hope so, because enough is enough! By the way...how much did we pay that junior attorney to attend to contribute absolutely nothing to the meeting?
