I was checking out the sign yesterday and the amount of rubber that was left on the curb, they had to have also ran the Military/Westcreek Oaks stop sign. That or they floored it and lost control or something.
Wouldn't surprise me. Or another case of over-powered car with under-able driver...seen lots of those around here lately too...

I have no idea about the history of Westcreek homes, sorry.

I checked out the damage to that sign today and there were bricks thrown over 10 feet, so someone definitely hit it without even braking. I'm thinking that eliminates the powerful car, weak driver possibility and increases the chances of it being yet another stupid drunk. I'm so sick of those fools.

Hey rd2007..I appreciate the "I have no idea" response...I'll try to find an answer going a different route. Thanks!

940 ~ I also have not a clue, but that is SOOOOOO interesting!!!! Looking at Google maps, it totally looks like the ONLY way in and out is thru Desare. I'm planning on taking a drive thru there this week just to check it out!!!

where is Desare? I do know someone that lives between Wiseman and Westcreek and I think they only have one exit which comes out on 1604. Is that the houses you're talking about? I can't remember how old her house is, but I know it's not new at all.

Oops. Wrong spelling. Google "Dezarae Street San Antonio" and you'll see it. Just off Westcreek Oaks. Pretty darned interesting!!!

edit ~ you're probably thinking of North San Antonio Hills subdivision. I think they have 2 entrances/exits to 1604.

Exactly jules07...if you look at Windows Live or Google maps of Westcreek, it's obvious that the houses are built around a pocket of older acreage homes that seem to have limited access except through the cul de sac on Dezarae St. If you drive thru there later, jules07, I'd like to hear your thoughts...or yours rd2007...if you decide to drive by there since I think you live near there off Westcreek Oaks per your earlier posts.

ok, my daughter's friend lived on Desrae, so I told her to ask her if she knows what's up with that area. However, my daughter is also a huge PITA, so she won't.. and she wonders why I tell her to move out every day..
I live almost exactly across Westcreek Oaks from that area.
