The resulting mess from the damaged "The Estates" sign was cleaned up today. Guess they are getting ready to repair/replace.

It was only 10PM. They heard a knocking at the door. He walks a few feet outside his front door and notices a forearm around the corner of the garage, he turns to head back into the house and another guy, with what the sherrifs said may have been a pellet gun, pops out from behind the bush and points the gun at him. Makes some sort of "homie" comment. Then he managed to quickly run back into the door and there was a struggle to close the door. They used the barrel of the gun to prevent the door from shutting completely. Eventually they glass from the front door broke and after a struggle of less than a minute they took off. These guys were wearing beanies and a bandana around their faces. That is what I was informed with.
No one was caught from what I heard. I would just watch out for characters that look out of place.

Sorry I didn't reply quicker, between school, and work blocking these forums through the proxy, I don't seem to frequent this site as much.

sounds like some punk kids. I'm sure some mom will cry when they get offed for trying this with the wrong house. He was such a good boy.. blah
I wish my wife would want me to get a gun. I told her about this yesterday and her logic was that it wasn't our house, so we don't need a gun..

Tell her that after it IS your house it will be too late...you won't need one!

Why don't you drag her out and meet up with us at the Bullet Hole this Tuesday and she can get a feel for things...that might help.

I've tried that method too. All of my female coworkers shoot and they offered to take her out to the range, but she still won't do it.
I just need to embezzle some money and get one, that way it'll be there when we need it. It'll be pretty hard to get that much money, though.
and I'm talking embezzlement from my own funds, not anything illegal

Embezzling from your own funds is easy.........skip lunches out, get $10 cash back every time you go to the grocery store alone, dump all your change every day into a jar...........by 2032, you'll have that gun!

Yea, I can understand...I use to be JUST like her...know how my DH talked me into it??? He told me, "fine, we won't have a gun...but if anyone ever DOES break in here and hurts us, the last thing you are going to hear is "I TOLD YOU SO"! Now THAT got me to reconsider...
