Schlitter or Splashtown
For kids 6 and under, what do you recommend. Pros/Cons of each? Which is better for toddlers and kinders? Is Schlitterbahn worth the price if you only use the kiddie areas. Any advice appreciated!

From what I can see from the highway, Splashtown looks very ghetto, and I've heard its nothing but long lines, long lines, long lines. Have you considered Fiesta Texas? They have a very good water park, and its included admission price

Our kids always preferred Schlitterbahn over Fiesta Texas or Splashtown....Splashtown is nothing but concrete - TheBahn has shade!

My wife and kids, ages 8, 5, and 3, went to Splashtown yesterday and had a blast. They said the kiddie area was better than Sea World and there were no lines whatsoever. It's apparently been upgraded since I last went 20 years ago as there are about 14 slides in the kiddie area now. Their only complaints were that the wave pool wasn't working and the lazy river was very lazy. I last went to Shlitterbahn 8 or 9 years ago and I enjoyed it. From what I remember, you can take toddlers on most rides.

never been to schlitter, been 1 time to spashtown, i liked it becasue the people controlling the rides were not so uptight, many times it was some high schooler on a cell phone and he would just say next, next, not really caring much for safety. but it moved faster that way.

Splashtown is more manageable. Our kids loved it when they were younger!

If you want a water park, Schlitterbahn is the choice. There is literally no competition when it comes to Schlitterbahn. Schlitterbahn got number 1 waterpark in America, btw.

I know you asked about Schlitterbahn and Splashtown but what about the new Aquatica at Seaworld. I think it is more small kids friendly than Schlitterbahn.
