I say go walking somewhere, maybe the greenbelt. Forget the movies, there really is not much talking there. You can always go to the riverwalk. I guess it depends on what part of town you are at, how much you wanna spend, what does she like, drink or no drink, these details would help give you better ideas.

There's that whole "painting with a twist" class.
Not sure if it's your thing or not, but I've been wanting to try it out with my wife.

Bring your wine and learn to paint.

Go to Fredericksburg. Stay at a B&B if you can.

Well, this idea won't fill the whole night. But, if she is a wine drinker. I say take her to Max's Wine Dive. A abundance of wine to try and with tasty food to go with it. Just a suggestion.

I know this sounds cheesy but my husband and I usually go skating, bike riding, or we try and make it to the theme parks so we can actually ride the rides and not just the ones for the kiddos. I think when you do stuff like that it keeps you young. We also like to get out to a small resort in Bandera tx called the Flying L. They have great food, great drinks, and plenty of things to do. Its also nice just to get out into the hillcountry and do something different. The flying L also has a water park that I prefer over any water park. its 10 bucks for admission on mondays and tuesdays. They have a small wave pool, lazy river, and the best part you can take your beer/wine/ margarita in the water float and sip. The hubby and i go around 3 get a nice buzz quit drinking around 6 and sober up by the time the park closes at 9 and we drive home. its loads of fun. There is also a sweet little chinese place there on main st. the only one in town cant miss it. very tasty.

Have you considered Alamo Draft House for dinner and a movie. I haven't done it but it's something I'm planning soon. Have a lot of friends who have. If you have a driver you could always head to the Riverwalk. Lots of food, drinks, and fun. Haven't been there on a date in years but when we did go we just walked around until we found something good.
