Default Lights Out & Gas Leak - Alamo Ranch Area?

Tuesday evening, power went out in the Alamo Ranch area. Not sure how much of it was affected. In addition, there was a heavy gas odor being carried by the wind. The county Sheriff and Firemen were driving around trying to find the source.

Anyone else in the area experience this?

I saw the lights go out for about 1 minute, but I didn't notice the gas. The longer outage was on Saturday afternoon, going out for about 30 minutes or so, but I didn't notice any gas smell then either.

Yes. It's true. The lights were off for about an hour or so due to a gas leak. It was about 2 houses down from mine (around the back area of the new water station that was put in), and the gas smell was VERY strong. Apparently a gas line was cut by a home that is still under construction and the gas was leaking out heavily. It was making a very loud blowing noise as it came out. It was kind of scary to think the amount of gas that was in the air.
