Funny, but today my TWC picture froze about 6-7 times. Each time I turned off the box and then back on and it would be OK for awhile. After the last time I unplugged the box to force a reboot. When is TWC going to get better cable boxes?

I have Dish Network and I sometimes have the freezing picture problem. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen when I DVR a show/movie. I've got my TV hooked up by HDMI.

I have had Time Warner, Grande Cable, Dish Network, and DirecTV. DirecTV is the best of the bunch, and Time Warner was the worst. I will probably never leave DirecTV.

Same thing happened to me today. I'm one of the few (apparently) that has typically crystal clear and stable service, but today it was constantly freezing up even after a DVR reboot.
