What neighborhoods in SA, in your opinion or from what you've heard, will be making, are making, or have recently made a "turnaround"? "Up and Coming Hood" as The Current likes to say.

There are many examples near to downtown. Near Alamo Heights, the area along Austin Highway continues to improve. I attended a presentation from the developer of a luxury apartment complex who has three of the seedy, rent by the hour motels under contract--just up from the McNay and N. New Braunfels.

Tobin hill just North of downtown between SAC and 281 just qualified for historic recognition. The river north segment of downtown too, though not much now, will soon be home to a lot of central development.

As always, Lavaca, Monte Vista, Beacon Hill, etc are still moving in the right direction.

Lavaca, and now the area south of Lavaca closer to Hwy 90. The River district (historic part, closer to the Misisons). The near northside.
