Not sure which one you're referring to, but HEB already owns several parcels on the NW corner of Bulverde and 1604. Target is rumored to go in behind the Chase Bank on the NE corner. But then, there's been talk of them going in Bulverde Marketplace south of 1604.

That area certainly fits their demographics both population wise and economically.

Maybe you're basing your opinion on the look of the businesses around the proposed site? I have no clue but here is a neighborhood just a block away from the proposed site.

yes...there is a Walmart there now...and today was the Worse accident ... I ever seen. Some DUI hit-n-run crushed her truck into a white Hyundai with a man./woman couple in their 40's. The man is in critical condition and if he dies the Drunk will be charged with Involuntary manslaughter.
