Whole Foods would make much more sense on that vacant parcel than a Walmart, but it is correct that Walmart was the winner in the bidding war for that site. It's not just the Dominion crowd - Fair Oaks, Boerne and other upscale areas all funnel past there for their daily commute. I don't know anyone out this way that wants to see another Walmart.

That said, there will be more to that center than just a Walmart. There will be additional retail and restaurant uses as well.

Don't ever visit Europe or anywhere overseas. I don't think some people could survive without their HEB or Walmart.

Default Updates?

Any updates on what the remodeled HEB in Leon Springs will have and if they are still on schedule to be done in October? What about updates on the land across Boerne Stage Road? Still a Wal-mart?
