Glad it happened later in the day. Was headed back through SAT (from LGA) this morning. It must have happened not too long after I landed.

That's nuts. I travel a lot and would NOT have been cool with it if it happened with me. Good to hear you were okay. What were you in NYC for? Hope you had fun, I should head up that way sometime soon.

NYC to see the closing of a Broadway show a friend was working in. Just a quick trip (overnight).

Seems things are back to normal now. At SAT now. Heading to LAS and not a peep about the drama that happened the other day.

Bomb threat clears downtown hotel

The Sheraton Gunter Hotel downtown was briefly evacuated this morning after a bomb threat.
Authorities got a call at 11 a.m. from someone saying a bomb would explode in an hour at the hotel, at 205 E. Houston St.
The building was cleared and surrounding streets were closed, but by 12:15 they were reopened.

San antonio has someone with time on their hands.

San Antonio police said they believe the man who phoned in a bomb threat at San Antonio International Airport last week made another threat today: that a bomb would explode at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel around noon.

Wow. What a sicko. The Sheraton Gunter was my first home in San Antonio way back in 2000. We moved the following summer.
