Would you guys recommend coming to Sea World early like around opening or would it be better to show up at around 2-3 pm or later? I see they have some Halloween shows at night and only a few shows during the day. I am bringing one 10 year old and a teenager and plus it's my husband and I. We may ride a few rides inside. Any suggestions based on past experience would be great. We should be getting there on Saturday and just doing a 1 day visit because we have to head back to the Temple/Waco area on Sunday afternoon.

If you're going there to enjoy the park but also the Halloween aspect, and you have older kids, the night time is better than daytime IMO.

Also, I have to wonder if anyone knows if purchasing the parking pass online will mean I have a shorter wait to get inside to park? And also, I have the seaworld tickets already and wondering if that means a shorter wait to get entry into the park?

Purchasing a parking pass online puts you in the same line to get in as everyone else......may save you a minute when you get to the booth, but not a major time saver....Tickets in hand is a definite time saver though.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm guessing since I already have the passes to get inside the park I won't have to wait in a long line? I can just go up and hand them the ticket?

Thanks guys! I think we picked a pretty good hotel. We usually come to San Antonio for the Alamo or Six Flags but we wanted to do something different this time. We decided to try the Courtyard Seaworld Westover Hills.

It gets scarier later in the evening.

The lines aren't usually a big deal, either to park or to get inside.

They usually have non-scary Halloween stuff during the day and the scarier stuff in the dark. They close the Halloween stuff while they switch to scary. My 10 year old was pretty scared of some of it.

Lots of kids go in costume too.

I would purchase tickets online. We went during the summer this year, but we wanted to purchase an annual pass so bought it at the ticket window. We were in line over 2 hours with a 3 and 1 year old...yeah, not good! I know the summer is more packed than this time of year, but I would advise you to pay online ahead of time. Because then, you only have to wait in the entrance to the park line, instead of having to wait in line to purchase a ticket and THEN get in line to enter the park. Doesn't cost you any extra and you can just walk right up the entrance and get in and watch the ones who didn't pre purchase stand in line.
