I'm looking to a pond or small lake to take my daughter fishing this weekend. Des anyone know of a nice place to go to?

miller's pond it OK. it is hit or miss. It was not good last time because of the drought. But now i have not been there for a bit. It is stocked every 2 weeks.

what about taking her to the Medina River in between Helotes and Bandera? She can splash her little feet around too. Nice clear water! Medina River Natural Area - directions Not sure what she'd catch, but how fun would that be? I'd love to do that with my kiddo.

is there fishing there? i would try anywhere for some fishing. I know medina is pretty dry, not sure about that river. If you go there let me know how it went.

They usually stock rainbow trout in the winter.
