Ben Casey Drive....lol Gillis Drive? I suppose they meant Dobie Gillis.

Off Ingram there's Peace Pipe Drive, War Knife Street, Pow Wow Drive, and others with the Indian theme.

Short Horn Street, off Nacogdoches and O'Connor.

Near the intersection of Eisenhauer and Corrine, there are three streets named after old Buick models: Invicta, Electra, and La Sabre.

I found a few more. There is Temptation Street. Sounds like a movie title doesn't it? Its near Persuasion Drive.

Raw Sienna and Burnt Sienna Streets. Kind of odd names.

Lion Hunt, Cougar Country, and Tiger Paw. Interesting street names.

Buggywhip Drive, Airlift Avenue. Big Foot Street.

They have an Airedale Lane and Maltese Lane. But no Chihuahua Court or Beagle Blvd, or other breeds. What a pity.

I doubt those were old models when those streets were named!

How would you like to live on a street called "Chupaderas"? I think I would move from there. There is a street here by that name.

According to a book called The Place Names of New Mexico the word chupadera can mean a sucking insect or a tick, in NM it usually means a sinkhole. Possible it meant the same thing here when they were place naming. Wonder if the street is named after the nearby Chupaderas Creek?

The Invicta, Eletcra, and LeSabre model names were first applied to the 1959 Buicks (introduced in Fall 1958), which was probably about the time those streets were put in.

I agree. Too much of a coincidence for them not to have been named after the cars.
