You might want to call crumpets bakery and see if they can help you. It's a pretty old school dish that's fallen out of favor.

If you find it, let me know! I have such memories of going to this beautiful inn in Yorktown, VA and having that. It was such a BIG DEAL!

European Cuisine and Texas Hill Country Dining | The Grill at Leon Springs

You were correct-a-mundo! Thank you so much! I'll report back when I've tried it in a few days. Never had it before. Definitely looking forward to it, as well as the other items on the menu! Looks good!

I was excited too, as I have never had Baked Alaska. However, my excitement was short lived when I saw the Baked Alaska was made with pistachio ice cream. I don't like pistachio ice cream. Love the nuts, but don't like pistachio ice cream, or that green fruit salad, guess it is pistachio salad, made with pistachio pudding.

I have never had the dessert Cherries Jubilee, either. Anyone know if this can be found in San Antonio? I have had Bananas Foster once, don't remember where, but LOVED IT!!! Once in a while, when I am not looking for it, I find Banana Fosters ice cream. I forget if it is Hagendaz or Ben & Jerry's, but it is good!

Bananas Foster is super easy to make it home...I do it all the time, especially in the winter.

Great place for Bananas Foster - The Fig Tree downtown - they even put nice little puff pastry swans with it...

The Grill @ Leon Springs has some AMAZING food...some of the best in town...

I highly recommend the duck two ways...cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!
