Does anyone know what is going on at the intersection where Wendy's is? They have begun doing site prep and there is now a construction trailer sitting next to Wendy's on the Culebra side. Thanks.

I think it is, the next one listed scheduled to be open is at 12760 Nacogdoches...

I'll see if I can find anything out on my way home, I pass close by there and will check it out.

Cheers! M2

Well, just went by there and there is nothing along Culebra but on that road that cuts across to Tezel (Camino Rosa) I saw a large woooden billboard placed up at an entrance way but unfortunately it had nothing on it.

Considering the size of the area, I don't think it's another Culebra Meat Market () but my guesses are another strip mall (likely) or possibly a school (not too likely, but the entrance way looks similar to recent school building sites). Might also be apartments, but that's a wild guess as well.

I'll check back on it when I go by there and provide any updates.

Thanks for checking. I drive past that area on my way to my daughter's preschool so I will be on the lookout as well for any developments.

I am pretty sure it is a WalMart. I talked to an old friend at HEB there and he mentioned that WalMart had bought the property.

It is a Wal-Mart.

I remember seeing the H-E-B there come up a little over ten years ago.
